The Carolina Hurricanes just announced that they signed defenseman Tim Gleason to a 4 year deal today. The contract will pay Gleason a total of 11 million over a 4 year period. (the annual payout is 2M in 2009, 2.5M in 2010, 3M in 2011, and 3.5M in 2012. )
